went to see the doc this morning.. lab test results for my spine tissue are out.. no maligant cells but not enough material to have a more detailed examination... which means.. the report doesnt totally convince the doc that im ok.. and thats worrying..well.. he suggested tat if there is a need... a sample of the bone from the spine will be taken... that basically mean surgery.. which im keen to avoid.. cos i think anything going from the back is dangerous.. ( no anal sex for me!!)... the back is pack will nerves inside the spinal cord.... so its not very safe la...
anyway.. the way to do it is to make a small incision from the back.. then drill past the back of the vertabrae and then continue to take make a hole in the main part of the vertebrae to collect the bone sample... that should be enough for testing and to determine if there is anything malicious there...
i wasnt to keen la.. i mean.. got a hole in the spine.. then how to move .. but heng doc says the bone will grow back after a few weeks.. and the pain will be from the wound made by the incision... the whole procedure will be done using x ray as guide and i will be asleep.... which is whole lot better than the last procedure i had which is the needling into the back.. tat one so gross.. anyway.. i guess making a hole in the spine will prob impede my movement for some time.. prob a few weeks.. there is also the risk of complications.. but the doc says that its a very safe procedure...
the hospital will call me if they think i should do the procedure..... my doc is going to discuss with the mri pple and to see if there is a possiblility of some abnormal growth or not.. oh well... this is damn sucky la.. my morale is super low....
work is bz now.. and i have to have such health problems.. knn.. im not chao genging.. this year like not very good.. hmm.. hope my luck will take a turn for the better soon...
