yet another letter to my boss

Dear Boss

Friendly Letter

Its really nice to see that you are coping quite well after receiving my letter of resignation. You have took over my position as the QA manager. However, some relevant knowledge is still need to do the job properly. I can see that you are seriously lacking in training and would really suggest that you get yourself up to speed with the ISO 9001 and 17025 standards. That might take some time though but it really heartwarming for me to see that you are doing all you can.

I think its really apparent now that the company is seriously lacking in manpower to set up the lab. After my resignation, I realised that you have been doing all you can to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities by dumping all my other jobs to the technical manager. I think letting him do all the work has got its benefits. He can be more involved in the running of the lab and he can even be a one man lab setup and testing machine. Having employees like him can surely only bring the company more cost effectiveness as he is lowly paid but still can do everything. Guys like him put the terminator to shame. In case you don know, terminator is now the governer of california.

I would also like to express my apologies in not being able to delay my last day to suit your request. I have to leave on the 20th of Feb 2008 because my mother will beat me with a cane if I do not do so. She tells me that yours is a crappy company that offers low pay and overloads employees with work. I tried to defend you by telling her that's not true but she threatened to throw me off the toilet bowl if I continued. My mother insist that since I have told you about 6 months ago to hire somemore engineers so that I can train them up to do the job, its not my fault now that Im unable to help you do training in such a ridiculously short time.

Im quite proud of the mettle of the remaining lab staff. After being thrown so much extra work, they are still slogging to handle all the new responsibilities. I suggest you empower them with more responsibilities as they are likely all supermen from the planet kypto. Some kyptonite will sort out any unrest amoung them. But since they need the money no matter how little, they won't dream of leaving. Just continue to load them with more work, im sure they can take it!

Finally, have an early night and a good rest because you are going to need all the energy you have to deal with daily issues. I know where to get anti depressants if you need them.

Best regards,

nicelegs

new job at last

Dear Boss,

Letter of resignaton

Pls be informed that I wish to tender my resignation with immediate effect.

Thank you for your guidence the last 2 years I have been with this company. Thank you for lying about sending me to japan's R&D for 2 years and thank you for promising me a 3.2k salary but giving me less than that.

Really appreciate the time and effort you took to come up with these lies. I have decided that its time to stop doing charity and find a job that pays according to experience, responsibilities and capability.

I had mentioned to you more than once that more manpower is needed in order for the lab to function properly, but I did not see any increase in manpower. It might be that you had more important things to think of like when to take your holidays, who to shift the blame to when the lab isn't up and running or simply just how to take over the world.

Lastly, I would like to say that Im happy to finally find an organization that does not prepares itself for staff changes or development. Working in such an organization really has made me a more charitable and reasonable person. I learned that I should not expect to be appreciated or paid the correct wages just because I handle almost everything.

All the best for the future and try not to blame my team members when they too tender their resignations over the next few months.

Your faithfully,

nicelegs
